Why is Blue Guy blue? Today he’s blue because he still hasn’t thawed out from his long walk home on Thursday. He got in a car accident, and his van was undrivable. As his mobile phone died, he decided that a walk home would be good exercise. After about a mile, Blue Guy was turning blue from the cold. (He was really wishing he had gotten his winter coat out that morning.) He did make it home without entirely freezing, eventually.
Why is Blue Guy smiling? He had been worried about tomorrow, but everything is working out. He can get to work, and get the kids to school. A good friend loaned him a car, and another good friend offered to drive his wife to the dentist. Then after a day of teaching math, a job interview, then rehearsal of a musical with the most amazing kids ever.
How could he not smile?
